I’m a Design Technologist. I design and build dense interfaces for professionals who need to find the important thing fast: trading terminals, developer tools, service-mesh observability and, today, missile warning for the U.S. Space Force.

How I work

I’ve always looked at code as a design tool. The prototypes I build end up in production.

I’ve built interfaces by hand in HTML, CSS and JavaScript since 2004. At Goldman Sachs in 2008, my deliverables were style guides and working HTML prototypes. Since 2014 I’ve worked in React, and I started the component libraries at Rally Software / CA Technologies and at SMX.

Today I carry two to three projects at once and use AI to move faster. My prototypes are used for customer acceptance, and their code goes into production.
